Privacy Policy
How we handle the information you give us when you run a free visibility audit. Last updated 26 August 2026.
Who we are
WinRadius helps local businesses in the United Kingdom get found by more nearby customers. This policy explains what we do with personal information collected through winradius.co.uk.
If you have any question about this policy, or want to exercise any of the rights described below, contact us at hello@winradius.co.uk.
What we collect
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
- Audit inputs: the business name and location you enter to run a visibility audit.
- Contact details: your name and email address when you unlock a full report.
- Report data: the audit findings and scores generated for the business you entered.
- Usage data: standard technical information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type.
Why we use it
- To generate your visibility audit and produce the report you requested.
- To email you your report and the link needed to view it again.
- To follow up about improving your local visibility, where you would reasonably expect us to.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Our lawful basis
Where you request an audit and give us your email to unlock it, we process your information to perform the service you asked for and on the basis of our legitimate interest in following up with businesses that have asked us for a local visibility assessment.
Where we send marketing that is not directly related to the audit you requested, we rely on your consent. You can withdraw consent or opt out of any email at any time using the unsubscribe link, or by emailing us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contract:
- Application hosting and content delivery.
- Database, authentication and file storage.
- An AI provider that analyses the business details you submit to produce the audit findings.
- Email delivery, for sending your report and any follow-up.
- Privacy-respecting analytics, to measure site usage.
How long we keep it
Audit reports and the associated contact details are kept for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, so that we can retrieve your report and give useful context if you come back. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
Anonymised, aggregated audit statistics that cannot identify you or your business may be kept indefinitely for research and benchmarking.
Cookies and local storage
We use only what is needed to make the site work — for example, keeping you signed in and remembering an audit in progress in your browser's local storage.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Any analytics we run is configured not to profile individuals.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.
- Email hello@winradius.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
- You can ask us to delete your audit and contact details at any time, with no need to give a reason.
- If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security and international transfers
Data is stored on managed infrastructure with access controls and encryption in transit. Some of our providers process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are covered by UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service develops. The current version was last updated on 26 August 2026. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
